About the Big Blue Hotel, Blackpool

It's cool, it's chic and it's clearly a class above the rest. The Big Blue is a haven of calm and style among the thrills of Britain's top tourist attraction and since opening in May 2003 has set the new standard for holiday and business accommodation.

This unique hotel consists of 157 beautifully designed bedrooms with oversized American space and a totally contemporary feel. Sumptuous fabrics create a tranquil mood, state-of-the-art lighting, DVD players in every room and big, big beds are just a few of the innovative touches that make all the difference.

Europe's tallest and fastest rollercoaster, The Pepsi Max Big One, provides a spectacular backdrop to The Big Blue Hotel, with many rooms overlooking the rollercoaster so that guests can truly experience the fun and excitement of staying at Pleasure Beach.

Why not make your stay at the Big Blue Hotel even more special by taking advantage of one of our very special themed breaks. Our theatre breaks combine the luxury of a stay in the Big Blue Hotel with the entertainment provided by one of the world class shows at Pleasure Beach.

“Just the best” - by

19th November 2015

I booked the deluxe suite as a surprise for my wife n WOW !!! we weren't disappointed.Free bottle of wine,tea/coffee making facilities with plenty of milk n sugar, two big tv's,dvd player, fire, living room etc etc The bed was massive and very comfortable, obviously with it been the suite there was plenty of room and it was extremely clean and tidy.
The bathroom and shower were of a very high standard with an extensive range of complimentary toiletries.
Breakfast the next morning was very good, tasty and fresh, yes we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated but that wasn't a problem at all.The waitress took us to our table and explained everything to us about what we needed to do as it was our 1st time in the hotel (although it won't be our last ) No complaints at all about breakfast and my wife and I both enjoyed it.
The only regret we had was not checking in earlier than we did as we would have liked to eat dinner in their restaurant but it was all ready fully booked-even though we didn't check in until 2pm;oh well I feel another trip is due
Over all an outstanding hotel and we had a fantastic weekend with The Big Blue Hotel playing a big part in that.
