• Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately pets are not allowed with the exception of working guide/hearing dogs. The following are within close proximity of the hotel:

  • Does the hotel have direct entrance to Pleasure Beach?
Yes - the hotel now has an exclusive entrance to the Pleasure Beach for hotel guests only. On all Pleasure Beach opening dates the entrance adjacent to the hotel will be open for the first 90 minutes to allow entrance onto the Pleasure Beach - allowing quick and easy acces for guests with a wristband or Pleasurebeach Pass issued at the hotel reception!

The entrance is open all Pleasure Beach operational dates for hotel guests for the first 90 minutes only - please check www.pleasurebeachresort.com for opening dates and times. Entrance only is permitted; the park exit is located at the North side of Pleasure Beach. Please note if accessing Pleasure Beach on your departure date and travelling by car that the hotel car park is only available until 13:00 on the day of departure - alternative chargeable parking is located in close proximity to the hotel.

 

  • Do you have smoking rooms?
All bedrooms, meeting rooms and public areas are designated non-smoking; there is a smoking area at the front of the hotel. A minimum £75.00 cleaning charge is applicable for smoking in guestrooms.

 

  • Do you have Internet access?
All bedrooms, meeting rooms and public areas offer complimentary wireless Internet access, a user name and password are required to access this service and will be provided by the hotel reception team

 

  • What time can I check in/out of the hotel?
Rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure, outside of these hours a luggage room is available. Late check out until 13:00 is available with prior reservation and at a supplement.

 

  • Is there a facility to store luggage before/after we checkin?
A complimentary luggage room is available, access is via our reception team

 

  • Can a late check out be arranged?
By prior arrangement and subject to availability a late check out at 13:00 on the day of departure can be provided and a supplement of £30.00 per room would apply.

 

  • Do you have accessible rooms for wheelchair users?
We do have purposely designed and adapted rooms for wheelchairs users, which are located on the ground floor of the hotel, for further information on the room features please contact our reservations team.

 

  • If I reserve a package including Pleasure Beach wristbands when can these be used?
If you reserve the fun break package which includes bed & breakfast plus 1 days wristbands per person for Pleasure Beach resort these can be either used on the day of arrival or day of departure which does not need to be chosen in advance you can simply liaise with reception during your stay. The inclusive wristbands can be picked up any time from the hotel reception.

 

  • Where can I find information on the opening/closing times of Pleasure Beach and which rides are included?

  • Which rail station is the nearest to the hotel?
Blackpool Pleasure Beach station is just across the road from the hotel and offers a service to/from Preston, alternatively Blackpool North station is in the town centre – taxi are usually available outside the North station.   • Do you have a car park at the hotel and when is it available until?
We do have a car park onsite, which is complimentary for residents only and cannot be reserved. You will need a 4-digit exit code to leave the car park, which will be provided by the reception team for you. Car parking is complimentary until 11:00 on the day of departure, after which charges are applicable.

 

  • Do I need to make a reservation for dinner?
We recommend that a reservation is made for dinner and this can be done by contacting the Blues Brasserie on 0871 222 4000

 

  • What happens if I need to amend or cancel my reservation?
If you have made your booking on this website then your reservation must be amended or cancelled on this website, if you made your reservation over the telephone please contact us on 0871 222 4000. Any amendments or cancellations must be made by 15:00 the previous day (24 hours in advance) to avoid a charge of the first night’s room rate – this policy does not apply to reservations made on advance purchase rates or special offers, which may have specific terms & conditions.

 

  • What happens if I do not arrive at the hotel or I cancel my booking after the cancellation period?
All non-arrivals and cancellations in breach of our policy are strictly charged for the first night’s room rate to the credit/debit card provided as a guarantee – we recommend travel insurance be taken at your discretion.

 

  • Do you have rooms that accommodate 2 adults & 3 children?
A limited number of our family rooms can cater for 2 adults and 3 children by providing a sofa bed or foldaway bed for the 3rd child in the adult’s area of the family room. Superior family rooms are recommended for children up to 12 years whilst deluxe family rooms are recommended for children up to 16 years. Please contact reservations for bookings of 2 adults and 3 children.

 

  • Do you provide cots?
Travel cots can be provided complimentary and should be requested in advance, alternatively you are welcome to bring your own travel cot however children cannot be accommodated in our Suites.

 

  • Can I make a request for a specific room, view or floor?
The Big Blue Hotel makes every effort to accommodate special requests however on occasion it may not be possible to do so. The Big Blue Hotel accepts no responsibility for accommodating special requests. We regret we cannot accept conditional reservation (i.e. a booking which is specified to be conditional on the fulfilment of a particular request).

 

  • Do you accept single sex parties such as stag and hen groups?

  • Do you provide corporate rates for regular guests on business?
